Nada fica de fora: Dark Ambient, House, Punk, Noise Guitars. Personagens representativos da cena indie já deram as caras em seus remixes. Pink Grease, Atomizer, Marc Almond, Miss Yetti, The Gods of Blitz, Ascii.Disco and Eric D. Clark.




ATTACK OF THE 88ft CUBAN - SPLIT SUPER 88 / RED ZONE CUBA CD-EP (2008 - redzonecuba rec) This fantastic split EP landed on my door mat this morning featuring 2 best Dutch underground bands at the moment. 6 trashy rock'n'roll tunes - 50s, 60s, 70s, blues, surf, hard rock, punk and more. Great fun. I just love these guys! You can hear that they are 100% into music they play, that they like it and enjoy it. Super 88 play Red Zone Cuba cover + super crazy MC5 - Rambling Rose cover with mad vocal. Red Zone Cuba starts with mindblowing cover of Super 88 "Fussball Baby", followed by 2 superfurious and manic tracks. Also compliments for great sleeve. I really can't believe these 2 bands still have no proper release. Shame on all labels, specially Dutch ones - including No Brains Records (with not enough money in the piggy bank).




REVEREND BEAT-MAN - Surreal Folks Vol 2 (2008 - voodoorhythm rec) O fundador do selo Voodoo Rhythm e frontman da garage band the Monsters está de regresso, entre entusiásticas rezas de blues trash, primitive rock´n´roll e fusões explosivas de garage-punk, estão presentes as raízes mais que tradicionais do country, rockabilly e gospel-blues, que capturam na perfeição o espírito deste "one man band", "Surreal Folk Blues Gospel Trash Vol. 2" é o seu melhor registo até agora.
